STATIC CAROUSEL + STATIC IMAGE DESIGNS
For this deliverable, designs were requested that would work not only as stand alone tiles, but grouped together as a carousel ad as well. App Academy’s brand typefaces (DM Serif & DM Sans), along with a red bar, were paired together to highlight important parts of each individual tiles messaging. Red rectangles are used to tie back into the rectilinear forward slash used in coding, and in the App Academy logo.
Static tile
The static tile for this campaign was designed to drive awareness and applications to a free coding program put on by App Academy. An image of a man coding breaks it’s frame, creating a dynamic composition. A diagonal is created with this frame, carrying your eye down through the tile. Black bars are used to highlight the main message of the ad.
META IN-FEED VIDEO STORYBOARD
The In-feed video was designed to drive awareness and applications to a free coding program put on by App Academy. App Academy’s branded red color was paired with dynamic animations to draw attention to important details about the program. Motion was used on tiles such Frame 4 and 5 to catch a viewers attention, and draw them into the next frame. The App Academy wave pattern was used as a background element, and as a transition between frames. This video was then animated in collaboration with a motion design team.
